|Hello,This is about Dr. Richard Blonna, the creator of the Seven Weeks to Conquering Your Stress © program. The program is based on his new book and relaxation CD of the same name and revolves around my Five R’s of Coping Model ©. He developed the model over a decade ago and first published it in his best-selling college textbook, Coping With Stress in a Changing World. The model has been used to teach thousands of students around the world how to manage their stress. His new Seven Weeks to Conquering Your Stress © program tailors the model for use with adults in non-college settings.
He has a Doctor of Education Degree (EdD) in Health Education from Temple University and a Master’s of Arts (MA) Degree in Counseling and Special Services from Seton Hall University. He’s a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and a Licensed Associate (LAC)Counselor. Dr. Blonna is a tenured, full Professor at William Paterson University where he have taught stress management, health counseling and other subjects for 18 years. He has written two other textbooks in the fields of Health Counseling and Human Sexuality.
